RADICAL HOSPITALITY

The Bauhaus Open Studio explores aspects of the design history of the Bauhaus with contemporary strategies and materials. This year, we will be looking at  Georg Muche’s and Richard Paulick’s Steel House a  metal prototype house from 1926/27 and devise a radical  intervention into an existing GDR office block from the 1960s. Our studio is part of a large collaboration between raumlabor berlin, artists, cultural and refugee organisations and will develop the notion of radical hospitality from an interior and spatial design perspective.
